Abbot Low Mills Jr. (1898-1986) became vice-president of two Oregon banks and served on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, 1952-1965. The collection contains the working papers from Mills Jr.'s time on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and include correspondence, memoranda, speeches, and position papers, minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee, documents relating to Federal open market policy, files on Federal Reserve regulations and their application in specific cases, and a file on international banking, finance, and trade.
